Dayton Air Show

Craig and I took our babies to the Dayton Air Show on the 17th. We didn't think about it being loud. So when we arrived and there was a fighter jet flying through the air, Calvin started freaking out. We tried to tell him it was just an airplane but it didn't work. Craig ended up buying ear plugs at the nearest booth. It was a good thing they had them or we would've probably left. Even with the ear plugs in it took Calvin a while to settle down. But by the end of the day he was watching the jets fly through the air with no problem.

Evie and I did some kissin' while the boys looked at boy stuff.

The boys were lookin' cute!

  2. Oh, I knew at one time! I'll have to ask Craig to jog my memory. I love that song!

  3. I will back her up on that. During our week-long WDW trip in 2006, we bought the 35th Anniversary Soundtrack Album.
There were two songs that Meg wanted to listen to over-and-over on the ride home - "Listen to the Land" & "Makin' Memories". Funny that they came from two attractions/pavilions right next to each other. Was "Makin' Memories" in the queue/preshow for Captain EO too (since it was for "Honey I Shrunk the Audience")? I know the Imagination (Journey Into Imagination) pavilion was sponsored by Kodak, hence the focus of the song. So, I wouldn't be surprised if it's been there the whole time. Part of me wonders if it made it's way over to Magic Kingdom when "Magic Journeys" played there after EPCOT.
Anyway, the affinity to WDW was exactly what I was hoping for after taking her. She was even the one who suggested the impromptu long-weekend trip that December! =)
